He is not here; He has risen, just as He said. Come and see the place where He lay.

But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His wounds we are healed.

Going a little farther, He fell with His face to the ground and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.”

And when they had mocked Him, they took off the purple robe and put His own clothes on Him. Then they led Him out to crucify Him.

They put a purple robe on Him, then twisted together a crown of thorns and set it on Him.

And they began to call out to Him, “Hail, king of the Jews!”

Wanting to satisfy the crowd, Pilate released Barabbas to them. He had Jesus flogged, and handed Him over to be crucified.

But go, tell His disciples and Peter, “He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him, just as He told you.”

“Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him.”

The crowds that went ahead of Him and those that followed shouted, “Hosanna to the Son of David!” “Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Hosanna in the highest!”

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.

Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.

The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to His Heavenly kingdom. To Him be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.'”

You want something but don’t get it. You kill and covet, but you cannot have what you want. You quarrel and fight. You do not have, because you do not ask God.

Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.” And God granted his request.

For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling.

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice.

This is how God showed His love among us: He sent His one and only Son into the world that we might live through Him.

Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it.

Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.

Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

Let Your face shine on Your servant; save me in Your unfailing love.

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.
