Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.

I will extol the LORD at all times; His praise will always be on my lips.

Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.

Give thanks to the Lord, call on His name; make known among the nations what He has done.

May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.

I can do everything through Him who gives me strength.

Sustain me according to your promise, and I will live; do not let my hopes be dashed.

The Lord is my light and my salvation–whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life–of whom shall I be afraid?

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

A happy heart makes the face cheerful, but heartache crushes the spirit.

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to His heavenly kingdom. To Him be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Give all your worries and cares to God, for He cares about you.

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.

Jesus replied, “What is impossible with men is possible with God.”

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Like water spilled on the ground, which cannot be recovered, so we must die. But God does not take away life; instead, He devises ways so that a banished person may not remain estranged from Him

Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'”

Therefore, accept each other just as Christ has accepted you so that God will be given glory.

He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

But now, this is what the Lord says–He who created you, O Jacob, He who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are Mine.”

Remember the words I spoke to you: ‘No servant is greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed My teaching, they will obey yours also.

If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.

If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated Me first.

Stay away from every kind of evil. (NLT)

Since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.

Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and His understanding no one can fathom.

The Lord is my strength and my song; He has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise Him, my father’s God, and I will exalt Him.
