You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage each other with these words.

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw His star in the east and have come to worship Him.

As long as it is day, we must do the work of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work. While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

Now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ.

This is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast.

But when the time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under law, to redeem those under law, that we might receive the full rights of sons (& daughters).

So he got up, took the child and His mother during the night and left for Egypt

On coming to the house, they saw the child with Him mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped Him. Then they opened their treasures and presented Him with gifts of gold and of incense and of myrrh.

After they had heard the king, they went on their way, and the star they had seen in the east went ahead of them until it stopped over the place where the child was.

He sent them to Bethlehem and said, “Go and make a careful search for the child. As soon as you find Him, report to me, so that I too may go and worship Him.”

“‘But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah,
are by no means least among the rulers of Judah;
for out of you will come a ruler
who will be the shepherd of my people Israel.'”

“Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star in the east and have come to worship him.”

On the eighth day, when it was time to circumcise him, he was named Jesus, the name the angel had given him before he had been conceived.

The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told.

But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart.

When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them.

When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.”

“Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests.”

But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.”

An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified.

While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son.

So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David.

She will give birth to a son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus, because He will save His people from their sins.

The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever.
